Caballero del Tiempo — knight of time — is a title work in Raúl Cerrillo's ongoing preoccupation with time, myth, and the speculative. It sits alongside Retrato Post-Humanos and Héroes Invisibles as part of a practice that treats the figure with weight and gravity, reaching for something between legend and forecast rather than portraiture.

Cerrillo builds the image in oil and mixed media on jute, a coarse fabric that keeps the surface raw and physical. Here the work spans two separate jute sheets joined on a single wooden frame, 234 by 230 cm, so a visible seam runs through the composition — the figure held together across a divide rather than painted whole.

Mixed media with oil on jute · 2024 · 234 × 230 cm (92.13 × 90.55 in) · Original one-of-a-kind · Two jute sheets mounted together on a professional wooden frame · Certificate of authenticity included.

Each work is an original (or a signed limited edition where noted), authenticated with a certificate of authenticity. Pieces are professionally packaged and crated, then shipped fully insured worldwide. Framing is as described in the listing.

Insured worldwide shipping. Delivery times vary by destination and artwork size; you will receive tracking once your piece ships.
